150 Tonne Cold Forming Press

A Compact High Force Cold Forming Press.

This Machine is designed to fit within a machining cell to perform a secondary forming operation between turning operations. The press has more than enough capacity to form a 17 mm. hexagon 20 mm long on the end of an electric motor shaft. The floor area used is 450 x 450 mm and the press is 1.1 m high.

The force is provided by two ENERPAC RC53 cylinders powered by servo controlled PA133 air/hydraulic pumps. The machine cycle is controlled by FESTO electro/pneumatic logic.
