Portable Hydraulic Bar Cropper

A portable power tool which cuts round bar with minimum distortion and with a square finished end. The cut can be made to within 5mm of a shoulder and requires only 19mm access either side. The material cut is mild steel of 12mm diameter.

The tool is designed to be used on bars which have been welded into a reinforcing core bundles for concrete poles, pipes, etc. The requirement can vary from the need to trim any excess length or to provide access openings.

The machine is actuated by an ENERPAC hydraulic hollow cylinder powered by an air/hydraulic booster.
