John A. L. Mills
& Associates Pty. Ltd. was founded in 1976 to provide
specialist engineering solutions for the Australian
market.
What we
do:
John Mills &
Associates specialise in designing small to medium scale custom
engineering solutions for the Australian market. This can range
from hand tools, through production processes to machine tools. We
have a proven formula for developing concepts that turn into
successful outcomes for our customers.
How we can help
your business:
Many of our
customers have created a product that has grown over time to the
point where manufacturing techniques are unable to cope with
increased volume, but demand is such that they cannot afford to
stop production in order to improve efficiency.
We take a
process that could be more efficient or more productive, develop a
specification in consultation with the customer, and then present
an idea that we believe will work. In the case of larger or more
complex problems, we then develop a scale model or test rig to
‘prove the process’, which also allows us to accurately estimate
cost.
We have
experience in all systems, including electrical, mechanical,
pneumatic and hydraulic. Our design philosophy combines form and
function, and what we don’t manufacture in-house is kept to the
highest standard by our trusted group of
sub-contractors.
